As a small but growing firm, every team member plays an important role in shaping our work and studio culture. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Designer Level I (Intern Architect) who shares our passion for design and is eager to contribute meaningfully to a variety of exciting projects.

Job responsibilities will include:

Utilize architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria to develop projects

· Conduct cross-checking of information prior to dissemination

· Conduct existing condition site visits and documentation

· Assist in developing construction documents with respect to the design concept

· Prioritize and understand the order of importance of tasks with some instruction

· Incorporate the work done by consultants, assist in coordination and provide consultants with documentation

· Develop detailed plans, sections, elevations, door schedules, wall sections, and miscellaneous details as required for a complete set of CDs

· Contribute to project meetings and attend site visits as required.

· Provide Construction Administration support

· Evaluate and research code issues in production of CDs

· Provide administrative tasks

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· Legally able to work in the US

· Must be willing to work Full Time hours

· Master’s degree in architecture or equivalent

· 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

· Working towards becoming a Registered Architect

· Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

· Strong Revit, Enscape and Microsoft skills

· Excellent workplace skills including written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork

· Self-motivated and results-oriented

· Experience in residential, commercial, restaurant is a benefit but not required

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

Location: Our office is in Londonderry, NH. I3 Architects offers a pleasant work environment that reflects our casual yet professional style. Applicants must be within commuting distance of Southern NH.

Expected hours: This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week with a (30) minute lunch break.
